Sustainability - what are we doing with our alcohol free subscription boxes?

At JOMO Club, we care about our world and we believe we have a responsibility to it.

We aren’t saying we are perfect, but we certainly have Sustainability at the heart of what we do to minimise our carbon footprint and reduce our negative impact. 

So, what are we doing?

Packaging

Our boxes:

We have carefully chosen our box supplier and packaging to ensure we are making conscious choices. Our supplier has created 183.36m2 of new native woodland in the UK to remove 7,334kg of Carbon Dioxide as part of their ongoing effort to good Environmental practice.

Inside our boxes:

We are a plastic free zone in there. Our bottles are wrapped with brown eco paper and our shredded protective paper is made from reused coffee cups.

Monthly Ingredient Card:

We have steered clear from mass producing our monthly ingredient cards and have chosen an independent vegan printers (Hatch). Once our members are finished with their cards, they can be planted turning into a flower. 0 waste, maximum happiness.

Delivery:

DPD were our top choice with their plans to become the UK’s most sustainable delivery company. By 2025, they are looking to reduce their CO2 emissions per parcel by 30%.

Partners:

When putting our monthly boxes together, our partners’ sustainability values play into this decision. It is important for us that we are delivering high quality products that also align with our goals and values.
