Celebrate Dry January With A Non-Alcoholic Pink G&T - Lyre’s

You know that feeling when it hits 5 o’clock and you really want to celebrate with a glass of something that just, well, hits the spot? For me, that is a G&T. It is crisp, refreshing and makes your cheeks suck in a little. The ritual of making the drink already makes me feel relaxed before even taking a sip.

As we know, a big part of forming a new habit is brain reward. That means instead of ditching that 5pm G&T, you should keep the ritual and reward your brain with a non-alcoholic G&T meaning you are more likely to stick with the new habit and ritual.

What’s next?

The glassware. For me, it makes all the difference. I select my favourite G&T glass. On one day it may be a gin bowl, on another it may be a highball or sometimes it is my short gold embossed glass.

And then?

The flavour of course. We have made our chosen drink in our favourite glass and we are ready to take a sip. Now this is the part when we take a pause. At this point, many choose gin, the alcoholic version, but this is where others are starting to choose an alternative. This is when we realise much of the experience is about the ritual and in fact not the alcohol.

That is all well and good, but does this alternative taste as good?

There are now hundreds of alcohol-free spirits on the market. As demand increases and the options do too, brands are taking a flavour and quality first approach. This means you are not just sipping an alcohol-free drink for the lack of the alcohol, but you are choosing it because it tastes incredible. You want to choose it.

One brand I am sure you have heard of are doing just this. Lyre’s – the Official Wine & Spirit of Dry January® - offer a remarkable range of non-alcoholic spirits that are impossibly crafted to perfection. Their range consists of 16 alcohol-free spirits, as well as an alcohol-free bubbly and ready-to-drink cans for the days when convenience is key.

If you are looking to try a selection of delicious cocktails, then look no further. Lyre’s have partnered with over 700 venues across the UK to hand out complimentary cocktails this Dry January®. To find out more about this amazing offer, click here

Lyre’s launched three years ago to replicate the world’s most popular spirits and have now grown to become the world’s leading independent alcohol-free spirit brand. Stocked in 20 of the world’s top 50 bars and winning many awards for their spirits.

The Lyre’s Pink London Spirit is a personal favourite for the G&T days. At home I now substitute my alcoholic gin for a Lyre’s Pink London and it evokes all the same feelings, while recreating the same flavour and mouthfeel of a gin. Honestly, we think you are going to be blown away.

For those that prefer a rum, whiskey or a tequila, these are all available in the range. Lyre’s have even created the perfect Espresso Martini and the perfect Negroni for the cocktail lovers.

Whether you are a mindful drinker or a teetotaller, there is a Lyre’s for every occasion and the perfect companion to Dry January 2022! They have done all the hard work for you, the only question is, which will you start with?
