The birds are chirping, buds are blooming and the days are getting longer. For us, the transition from Winter to Spring is one of our favourites! Full of hope, excitement and motivation. We have planted new flowers and are starting to watch them grow.

We also spent February taking a look at our personal relationship with alcohol as a mindful drinker and what purpose alcohol serves in our lives, if any. More on that later.

Marie Laveau, creators of alcohol-free spirit Ceder’s and Maria & Craig’s have created an astonishing white rum alternative to help us kickstart Mojito season. Also wonderful when paired with cola and a wedge of lime.

Pago have been creating premium juices since 1888 and this Pineapple is the perfect drink to pair with Marie Laveau or to enjoy in the morning with half a glass of Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay!

50ml Marie Laveau over ice topped with Pineapple Juice and garnished with a wheel of lime and a wedge of pineapple.

Following last months’ Spiced Citrus spirit, we wanted to showcase another one of Atopia’s incredible spirits. This time, a favourite flavour of ours, Rhubarb & Ginger. Simply serve with a premium tonic and voila.

Highball have created the classic cocktails we know and love so you can enjoy them without the booze. Continuing Spritz season, all you have to do is pour over ice and garnish with a wedge of orange without any of the fuss. You can also choose from the rest of their range; Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Ginger Dram, Pink G&T and Classic G&T. With all natural ingredients and low in sugars, these are the perfect 0 fuss cocktails.

Bringing a new range from Frobisher’s, this cordial is the perfect pairing with Marie Laveau’s alcohol-free rum but also a gift that keeps on giving as wonderful with sparkling water for an easy week-day serve. 

Cocktail of the Month

The Marie Laveau Mojito 

A cocktail favourite and one that is extremely easy to create. 50ml Marie Laveau over ice in a highball glass and 15ml Mint & Lime Cordial topped with sparkling water. Garnish with fresh mint and lime. *You can also create the Mojito by muddlig fresh mint and fresh lime in the glass instead of the cordial.

Bergamot and Blood Orange

Seasonal is always best. Bergamot is from the lime family and perfect twist for this months’ alcohol-free Mojito. 

As always, we included an ingredient card to showcase how to make the drinks in the box and a 20 page members magazine. This included a real-life journey and guidance for a more mindful Spring, along with of course interviews with the brands inside the box. We also for the first time created a make along cocktail video for our members to make the Mojito together - from our kitchen to theirs.
