Get some good Karma from drinking soft drinks

We’ve only got one world and we better believe it. We wouldn’t treat each other the way we treat our planet - it’s time to act, and pretty sharpish.

This isn’t a piece about the environment, but it is a piece about companies doing their bit to pave the way for other brands and to allow us to consciously buy products that are trying their absolute best to make a positive environmental impact.

You may have started to see Karma Drinks pop up everywhere and sweep our coffee and farm shops with their fizzy drinks. Not only do they taste delicious, but they also care.

Did you know there are 2,000,000,000 colas consumed every day, but the West African people who discovered the Cola Nut don’t make a penny from the world’s most popular fizzy drink. So, in 2010, Karma Drinks took a bag of Cola Nuts sent by their friends in Sierra Leone, a small village called Boma.

Matt, Simon and Chris’ aim was to create drinks that used ingredients good for the land, the people who grow them and for the people who consume them.

For Karma it’s not about giving back, they just don’t take in the first place. They are B-Corp pending, they are planting 25 trees in the Amazon for every case of Karma sold from their shop and they have never been served in plastic.

So, now we know the ethos, what about the fizzy drinks we hear you ask.

Karma Drinks have created organic sodas taking all our favourite flavours and putting a Karma twist on them.

Gingerella is a ginger ale grown organically by Fair-trade farmers in Sri Lanka. It’s fiery and crisp and consists of a unique blend of organic ginger, lemon, sugar and spice.
Karma Cola uses natural sweetener stevia to take out the sugar and keep the flavour creating a refreshing fizzy drink!

Lemony Lemonade is zesty and delicious. With 31% organic Sicilian lemon juice in every bottle, a splash of grapefruit is added, some citrus oil and then finished off with water and bubbles.

Orangeade is a taste of summer. Made with juicy organic Valencia oranges sourced from the wild San Luis Potosi region in Mexico and balanced by a dash of Fair-trade organic sugar.

Razza Raspberry Lemonade. Fruity, fizzy and bold.

They are perfect when cold or over ice or can be paired to create tangy cocktails such as our recent February Box’s ‘Wild Serve’ with 50ml Feragaia topped with Gingerella.
