The stinging nettle, also called common nettle, is a weedy perennial plant of the nettle family, known for its stinging leaves. We all remember the times walking as a child ending up with a jaggy leg from standing in the nettles and having to rub a dock leaf to soothe the discomfort.

Well, Hugo, Founder of Nuisance Drinks has a slightly different memory. His childhood was still spent in the Cotswolds nettles, but instead of seeing them as a weed, Hugo and his mother would spend the summers picking the stinging nettles to create a deliciously refreshing nettle cordial.
